Nora Schüssler

Nora Schüssler (dramaturg) studied English and German as well as “Ethik der Textkritiken” at Augsburg University and graduated with a state exam and a masters degree. After completing a dissertation in American Studies at Augsburg University, she trained as a director at the Berlin acting academy Ernst Busch. In 2005, she founded THEATER PANOPTIKUM in Augsburg. Her credits as a director includes work at nato Leipzig, Maxim Gorki Theater Berlin (SCHRÖDINGERS KATZE HAUT AB, 2013), Stadttheater Ingolstadt (DER HEIRATSANTRAG/DER BÄR/ÜBER DIE SCHÄDLICHKEIT DES TABAKS, 2013). Her play ABWASSER won the second place in the “Stück-Auf” competition in 2012 and was invited to “Neue Stücke aus Europa” festival in Wiesbaden. For the Augsburg Brechthaus she curates the series “Junge Literatur aus Europa”. Plays by Nora Schüssler were played in Berlin, Augsburg and Pittsburgh. As a dramaturg, she accompanied the opera production MOZART: ZAIDE – EINE FLUCHT (Theater Augsburg, 2015)
